Description

The sculptural couch consists of a frame, seat, backrest and armrest. Sliding the backrest back and forth, creates space to sit or stretch out on the Glyder. The ottoman can be added separately or used as an extension for one Glyder or a connector between two.

The Glyder doesn’t belong to any specific series of works, but does adhere to the basic AVL rules for design: to make it fit, move, modular, exceptional and, above all, to not overdesign it. It premiered at Infernopolis (2010) in the Onderzeebootloods, where it functioned as a vintage point from which to admire the mega show.
